StatisticsEvery year when the play has closed for the season players' batting and bowling averages are calculated. Usually in October during a presentation evening, held as a 'dinner dance', a variety of awards are up for grabs. It is not just about who scored the most runs or took the most wickets. There are also awards given out for achievements such as 'Young Player of the Year' and 'Most Improved Player of the Year' as well as the more light-hearted 'Magic Moment' and 'Duck' awards.
